Our Kits

  • What ages are the playdough kits recommended for?
    • Ages 3 and up. There’s no age limit to having fun! Older kids, teenagers and even adults love to create with each other. For younger children 2 and under, please check out our toddler kits. We offer Toddler Kit and Sesame Street Toddler Kit with smaller parts removed and replaced with larger, safer objects. As always, adult supervision is recommended.
  • Is your playdough non-toxic?
    • Yes, it is made with all natural ingredients. We do not recommend eating the dough, but it is safe in case your little one sneaks a taste! Please use caution with glitter and sand-dough.
  • What ingredients are in your playdough?
    • Our dough is made with flour, salt, vegetable oil, cream of tarter and food coloring. Our ICE CREAM KIT and CUPCAKE KIT contain real chocolate and vanilla scented dough. Our FALL KIT includes pumpkin pie spice scented dough (cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg spices). Please use caution with different surfaces as the dough might stain (this is rare).
  • What makes your playdough better than store bought?
    • Our dough is definitely softer and less crumbly than store bought. It picks up easier and can be vacuumed up when dry. I’ve created custom colors and added some fun things like glitter, spices, and extracts to make certain types stand out! Our sand dough looks and feels like REAL sand but without the mess!
  • Do you offer refills for kits?
    • Not currently, but we do plan on offering our dough separately in the future. If you have any quality issues or missing pieces, please CONTACT US.
  • How long does your playdough last?
    • Our dough will last up to six months or longer when properly stored.
  • How do you recommend storing the playdough?
    • To get the best longevity out of your dough, store in an airtight container, re-wrap tightly and remove air, or place in small resealable bags and throw it back inside the kit!
  • Why are there white spots on the playdough?
    • It’s just salt! When the playdough sits a while or is exposed to the air, the salt will crystallize on the surface. Just simply knead the playdough for a couple minutes and it should return to its soft consistency.
  • What are the dimensions of your kits?
    • 10.8″x 7.3″ x 2.7″. There’s enough room for approximately 10 characters to personalize the lids with a child’s name.
  • What are the names personalized in?
    • Kits are personalized using a high quality vinyl.
  • Why does my kit look different than what’s pictured?
    • Each kit is made by hand and some variations may occur. Slight differences in playdough color and kit accessories may occur due to supply availability.
  • How often are new kits released?
    • Currently, we will not be releasing any new non-holiday related kits for the remainder of 2020. Fall kits are available for pre-order on September 6, 2020 and available for shipping and local pickup on September 14th. Halloween mini kits will be released on October 1, 2020 and two Christmas themed kits and mini kits will be available for pre-order on November 1, 2020 and available for pickup and shipping on November 15th.

  • How do I choose local pickup? I only see an option for shipping. ..
    • In the cart, click ‘change address’ and enter your information. Local pickup will only be available for the San Antonio area.
  • Where is local pickup located?
    • Local pickup is porch pickup in San Antonio Texas zipcode 78258. I am located by Hardy Oak Boulevard and Stone Oak Parkway. Pickup instructions will be emailed after purchase. A map of the location: https://goo.gl/maps/nB6PbzHnKuertoNu6
  • How is my kit shipped?
    • We ship with USPS Priority Flat Rate. Most orders ship within two business days and are delivered within 3-4 days.
    • Pricing:
      • 1-2 kits: $15
      • 3-4 kits: $30
      • 5 or more kits: PLEASE CONTACT US for pricing.
  • Why is shipping so expensive?
    • Due to the weight of the kits (approximately 3-5 lbs.) flat rate is the most cost effective method of shipping. As a small business we are not eligible for the discounts other larger retailers receive. As always, thank you for shopping small and supporting small business.
  • I only want one kit , can’t you ship it cheaper?
    • Unfortunately, no. The smallest box my kits will fit into is the Medium Flat Rate USPS box. This box can hold 1-2 kits. Maybe you can find a friend or family member to split the shipping with, or purchase an additional kit as a gift.
  • My item arrived damaged, what now?
    • PLEASE CONTACT US and we will send out a replacement at no cost to you.

Order/Refund Policy

  • Do you offer refunds?
    • No, sorry. All purchases are final. We will do everything we can to ensure you are happy but cannot issue refunds at this time.
  • Do you offer discounts for purchasing multiple kits?
    • Discounts can be done for purchases of 4 kits or more at the same time. Please contact us to receive a coupon code. Four kits are $25/ea. when purchased at one time.
  • Do I have to personalize a kit?
    • No, absolutely not. Just enter ‘None’ in the name field during purchasing. The price remains the same. Please ensure proper spelling at the time of ordering. We are not responsible for incorrect spellings due to error or auto-correct.
